O'Coffee Club High Tea Set

I have always thought that having high tea in Singapore is expensive until O'Coffee Club launch their all-new afternoon tea. The new afternoon tea at O'Coffee Club has made high tea so much affordable and filling for the tummy. And this afternoon tea set spells mid-day indulgence for everyone.

The afternoon tea set is served between 2-6pm daily from 2 February to 30 April 2015, this new mid-day offering will be available at  O'Coffee Club Millenia Walk, Paragon, Raffles City, Wheelock Place, Wisma Atria and Changi Airport Terminal 3.

It is priced at wallet-friendly $28++, each three-tiered set caters to two guests and features an array of sweet and savoury treats. The afternoon tea set is fixed with TWO pieces of each of the following items.

Bottom Tier: 

- BLT Sandwich: Ciabatta bread with bacon, lettuce, tomatoes & mayo dressing.

- Smoked Salmon Sandwich: Toasted focaccia topped with smoked salmon & honey mustard dressing.

- Ham & Cheese Sandwich: Focaccia bread with pork ham, sliced cheese & mayo dressing.

Middle Tier:

- Carrot Cake: studded with walnuts, chunks of pineapple and layered with luscious cream cheese.

- Mango Diva: Light mango yoghurt mousse on a moist base of red date & walnut cake.

- Apple Cinnamon Crumble: Fun-sized tarts filled with spiced apple and sprinkling of powdered sugar.

- Peanut Butter Macaron: Rich peanut butter and chocolate cream sandwiched between crisp orange blossomed shells.

 - Almond Biscotti: Traditional Italian cookie with the infusion of coffee.

- Chocolate Eclairs: Dainty choux pastries plumped up with light chocolate mousse and iced with chocolate ganache.

Top Tier:

- Raisin Scones: These warm bakes are best enjoyed accompanying spreads of strawberry jam and homemade orange peel mascarpone.

On the Side:

- Verrine: Rum & passionfruit syrup-soaked sponge with fresh orange, whipping cream and chocolate pearls served in a petite glass.

- Beverage: The Afternoon tea set includes picks from O'Coffee Club's premium coffees including latte and cappuccino brews, and for the tea drinker, a selection of gourmet Gryphon teas.
