Hokkaido Sushi, Ala Carte Japanese Buffet @ M Hotel

Unnoticed by many, Hokkaido Sushi is located on the 9th floor of M Hotel and has actually been serving their famed Omakase set meals to a clientele of office workers in Singapore's CBD district. I didn't realized there were other restaurants in M Hotel besides Cafe 2000 but it's not too late to find out this hidden gem!

Chouquette by Ollella, Cafe Specialize In Choux Pastries @ Petain Road

Taken over the space formally owned Department of Caffeine at Duxton Road, Ninja Bowl now serves healthy one-bowl meals and all-day brunch items executed with Japanese flair. At the newest concept, Ninja Bowls comprise Japanese-inspired items such as aburi chashu as well as options of padding them up with quinoa, orzo etc.

Kanshoku Ramen Bar, Truffle Ramen @ Orchard Gateway

With two outlets in Singapore, Kanshoku Ramen is committed to serving fresh, healthy and tasty ramen. Kanshoku in Japanese also means 'to finish eating every last bit of your food', and the folks are serious about making sure everyone finishes their bowl of ramen. Kanshoku is founded in 2014 locally by close friends Melvin and Brendon.



The ramen bar outlet at Orchard Central is slightly smaller in space and displays a shoe-box sized kitchen within. Other than ramen, the local brand serves an extensive menu that offers a range of sides and rice dishes.
