Keisuke Kani King, Crab Broth Ramen @ Cathay Cineleisure

Following the success of Lobster King that recently opened this year, Keisuke ramen chain burst into the ramen scene once again with it's eleventh concept store - Crab broth ramen. As the name goes, Kani King serves signature crab broth ramen in five different styles. Opens till 2am during the weekends, this is an ideal spot for supper after a movie.

Creamier Opens Second Outlet @ Gillman Barracks

Home-grown ice cream brand, Creamier has recently opened their second branch situated at Gillman Barracks. I believe Creamier has also become one of Singaporean's favorite ice cream parlour, with home-made ice cream flavours that we find familiarity within, as well as quality waffles and gelatos.

Penang Hawkers' Fare @ White Rose Cafe, York Hotel Singapore

This year, York Hotel Singapore celebrates 30 stellar years of its renowned and wildly-popular Penang Hawkers' Fare at White Rose Cafe. This well-loved buffet now held thrice annually, offering unlimited servings of Penang specialties such as Char Kway Teow, Penang Prawn Mee and Assam Laksa. Due to popular demand, the buffet has increased the number of stalls over the years.

The Bao Makers, Cafe & Bakery @ Horne Road

As the shop name goes, The Bao Makers is a concept store serving buns which also known as Bao (包) to many locals. The Baos we are talking about here are the Chinese style steamed buns, the term which I believed we all know - Kong Bak Bao. Located along Horne Road, just so you know it has taken over the space that was previously occupied by Windowsill Pies.

Menya Takeichi, Tokyo's Number 1 Chicken Ramen Chain @ Eat At Seven, Suntec City

The latest concept joining Eat At Seven, Suntec City is Menya Takeichi, Tokyo's number 1 chicken ramen chain. The restaurant is lauded as Tokyo's top chicken ramen chain, with several outlets in Tokyo. Something different from the usual classic tonkotsu based ramen, Menya Takeichi offers collagen-rich broth, which is the culmination of simmering fresh chicken and chicken feet for long hours.

GoroGoro Steamboat & Korean Buffet, Orchard Gateway

You may have already been or heard about I'm KIM Korean BBQ as well as KOKOMAMA for their bingsu and pastries located at SOTA. And this time, the same folks behind these two establishments has recently opened a steamboat and Korean buffet restaurant called GoroGoro, situated centrally at Orchard Gateway.


You may be wondering who are these cartoon monsters that you see in the restaurant. Each of this monster represent the different types of broth offered and GoroGoro refers to the sound an empty tummy make when hungry. There are up to 70 selections of meats, vegetables and drinks available to savour.

Seasonal Tastes Dinner Buffet, The Westin Singapore

Finally tried Seasonal Tastes at Westin Hotel after a couple of failed attempts. The restaurant’s casual design features sweeping floor-to-ceiling windows that show off breathtaking views of Singapore's city skyline. Besides the awesome view, Seasonal Tastes serve a spread of Asian and International fare. I believe everyone can find something here to suit their taste bud in any form.
