Boufe Boutique Cafe, Phoenix Park

Boufe Boutique Cafe is a newly opened cafe situated in the vicinity of Red hill at Phoenix Park. We were attracted by the pretty brunch items and the all white decor, it sure looks promising. Thus, the makan khakis and myself decided to check them out one Sunday. It is located at the far end from the entrance so you can request for a buggy ride.

The word Boufe is derived from ' BOUtique' and 'CaFE', when you combined them you get Boufe which is also pronounced as 'buffet'. There's a boutique selling woman apparels/clothing at the corner while the cafe takes up the rest.

23 Jumpin Cafe, Tai Seng

23 Jumpin Cafe is probably one of the newest kid in the cafe hopping scene, being a few months old. Located in the isolated industrial estate but thankfully it's a stone throw away from Tai Seng MRT Station. Upon reaching the Commerze building, I was surprised to find a stretch of restaurants and salad bars together with 23 Jumpin.

Bodacious Bar & Bistro - Biopolis Drive

Been seeing much hype about Bodacious on instagram lately and the makan khakis decided to head over to have dinner on a Thursday night, located at Biopolis street. At Bodacious Bar & Bistro, the food is simple and affordable. Serving all-day breakfast menu dishes out of the usual favourites such as Salmon Egg Benedict.

Bodacious is also known for their pretty modern interior design, an ideal place for photo taking. The menu is pretty extensive, from a range of sides to mains such as Duck Confit and Sea Bass - unlike the usual pasta, pizza kind from cafes these days. And all of the mains at Bodacious were under $20, waffle-friendly.

The Korean brand, Yoogane has arrived in Singapore, currently with 2 stores - Bugis Junction and Westgate Mall. Yoogane is a popular galbi brand, with 100 over branches in South Korea. The popular galbi restaurant started in Busan in 1981 and has since grown a chain all over in South Korea.

Galbi is a korean dish of tender chicken meat marinated in korean red pepper sauce. I've seen Yoogane during my trip to Seoul last year but regret that I did not try back then. But I'm glad Yoogane has arrived in Singapore!
