Who says that a croissant should be restricted to a fate of being sweet, smeared with jams or split into halves to sandwich some tuna mayo? There's no boring, bog-standard mayonnaise-loaded fillings at Tiong Bahru Bakery and with that, the folks are introducing four savory croissants. three of which has fillings baked inside the buttery dough for a veritable party of flavours. Exciting creations.

The Coffee Daily, Serangoon Garden Estate
I have been to Serangoon Gardens several times for food but sadly have never been to The Coffee Daily until recently. The Coffee Daily is one of the coffee joint in the explosive cafe scene - serving good coffee, brunch, waffle w ice cream as well as their highly raved rainbow cakes. It is located in Serangoon Gardens estate at Brighton Crescent, where by shophouse was formerly owned by Awfully Chocolate.

Harry's Bar, Clarke Quay Singapore
Harry's Bar is typically known as a chill out destination for drinks to many Singaporeans, we can all change the perception of that with the launch of an updated Harry's food and drinks menu. The refreshed menu now showcases 50 delectable dishes, a more extensive offering of modern European comfort foods that you will be spoilt for choice. With this, Harry's Bar seems like an ideal spot for a urban getaway.

Faculty Of Caffeine, Johor Bahru
Cafe hopping continues to Johor Bahru for one of the weekdays! The cafe scene is getting explosive not only in Singapore but in our neighbouring country as well. Faculty of Caffeine is one of the common names you will hear when asked about JB cafes, especially when SGD has rose to its highest level against Malaysian ringgit.

[Closed] Sin Lee Foods, Jalan Bukit Ho Swee
Sin Lee Foods has always been one of my favorite place for comfort food, situated in the old estate of Jalan Bukit Ho Swee. The nostalgic looking cafe is converted from an old coffee shop and the name Sin Lee is retained from the previous stall, keeping its name and signboard. Sin Lee Foods serve unique food component unlike your usual Egg Benedict or Big Breakfast brunch fare you find in many cafes these days.

Old Bibik's Famous Peranakan Rendang @ MDIS Building (Halal)
Old Bibik's Peranakan Kitchen started out in 2012 as a food stall at the former Lavender Food Square. Spoke to owner Adrian Loh that in the beginning, there were only chicken, beef and mutton rendang set meals. The recipes were honed from Adrian's mother, which was passed down from his grandmother. The idea behind Old Bibik now is to package traditional Nyonya dishes in a fast food concept at wallet friendly prices.
