Miam Miam High Tea Set & Desserts

Miam Miam, a French Japanese Cafe Kitchen, has launched brand new high tea sets and desserts. They are known for marrying french techniques with Japanese-inspired flavours and this is shown in these new offerings. The revamped dessert menu also features irresistible afters, read on to find out more.

Decided to go with Hot Matcha $6.20 to go along with high tea platter.

Here's High Tea Platter for 2 ($26.90, which works out to $13.45/pax). It includes 3 premium savoury and 7 sweet treats and any 2 drinks from Miam Miam's coffee/ tea menu. High Tea Platter for 4 ($48.90) is available as well, which consists of 6 premium savoury and 14 sweet treats and any 4 drinks. Strangely, this time I prefer the savoury to the sweets.

Eight choices of coffee/tea to pick from: Hot Coffee, Hot Cafe Au Lait, Iced Cafe Au Lait, Darjeeling Tea, Earl Grey Tea, Chamomile Tea, Hot Matcha and Iced Matcha.

One of the revamped dessert menu, The Panna Cotta ($7.90++). With it's velvety base, it is capped off with mix berries compote. The only complain was the texture of the panna cotta was firm and hard, more like pudding instead. All things have their moment of bad days.

Get your taste bud on the earthy taste of the roasted Japanese green tea leaves in Houjicha Pancake ($13.80++). The fluffy pancake is infused with the aromatic green tea flavour and then topped with mochi balls, azuki and houjicha whip. Like the strong aroma of the pancake, crisp on the edge yet fluffy and dense within.

If you enjoy tangy flavours, you can opt for the Yuzu Pancake ($12.80++). It is stopped with crunchy sesame crumbs, Yuzu jelly and served with vanilla softee. Yuzu is a rare citrus fruit from Japan and it's sharp notes will invigorate senses. Pancake & ice cream, best of both worlds.

Miam Miam's premium French-Japanese high tea sets and desserts is available from 20th April onwards, available from Monday-Friday, 230pm-530pm. While desserts menu will be available throughout the whole day.

  2. Looking very special dessert. We can start our day with this. A great combination of french techniques and Japanese flavour. Hojicha pancake is a great option for healthy, easy to make and simply, delicious food and also, kid-friendly too. Since hojicha is super low in caffeine In fact, in Japan, houjicha is consumed by children and the elderly for this reason. You can serve and add fresh strawberries, blueberries, bananas. Nuts are great too. Maple syrup goes perfect with this. You can also add Martabak Manis to your favourite dessert and taste that you will never forget.
