Opened by the same folks behind Tantric Bar, Peppermint Park is a pizza bar serving various types of pizza flavours, as well as an ideal spot for supper in the central district. Located along Neil Road, Peppermint Park serves a wide selections of cocktails and operates daily from 8pm to 3am. When you are down for a drink, Peppermint sure is.
From wines to beer, there are mocktails and cider as well. There were four types of flavoured ciders, $14 each, such as Apple, Blackcurrant & Lime, Strawberry & Vanilla and Pear. Non alcoholic options are available too.
This is one of their collection of excellent bar bites to pair with cocktails or beers, The Wings Platter $12. This platter consists of 3 types of drumlets and wings, both fried and oven baked.
From their extensive menu is this Shepherd's Pie V2.0 $14.90, which is also their latest improvement on it. A whole lot of cheese sits atop the bed of mash potatoes, some cheesy goodness right there.
We tried two of their signature pizzas and one of them is this Sambal Seafood $24.90. All pizzas are best for sharing as it comes with a jumbo size of 12 inch, which can serve to about 10 big slices. The sambal sauce and everything is made in house, including the pizza dough that is hand knead. Anyway, this was a crowd pleaser at my table that night, I was pleasantly surprise at how well cheese and sambal goes together.
The next pizza we tried was Bruschetta $22.90, consists of pork sausage, beef pepperoni, tomatoes, chopped garlic, thyme and balsamic vinegar. Perfect crust and the toppings were pretty generous.
Peppermint Park serves decent pizzas, pies as well as bar bites. It is no doubt a great place to chill over a drink since it is open till 4am during the weekend.
