Weekend Dimsum & Champagne Brunch @ Crystal Jade Prestige

Spent one of my Sunday indulging in Crystal Jade's weekend brunch with the family. This brunch is a promotion in celebration of the upcoming Father's Day, this affair features a 10-course meal. To make things sweeter, you have the option to enjoy free flow exquisite Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label champagne.


In this exclusive champagne brunch menu, you can customize their brunch menu by picking 10 items from 5 different categories including appetizers (1), dim sum (5), BBQ meat selection (1), soups (1), wok-fried dishes (1) and desserts (1). On top of this in the weekend brunch, you can also enjoy Crystal Jade Prestige’s signature Tea-smoked roasted duck at just $48 (usual price: $78)



Under the Dim sum section, one person is able to choose 5 types out of the 10. Above is the Baked Abalone and diced Chicken Pastry, love the flaky pastry tart. Do note that if you're dining as a group, everyone would have to choose the same. Which also means whatever items I choose in this menu, the rest of the diners would have to be the same too.

For Appetiser, you are able to pick 1 out of the 4. We tried 3 of them and highly recommend the deep fried cod fish cube with passionfruit sauce!


Under the Roast segment, there are 3 types of meat to choose from. Pork belly, Char Siew and Soya sauce chicken with rose wine. I had the privilege to try 2 types during my visit and I recommend the crispy pork belly.


There are 3 types of Soup in this segment. The Chef's special soup of the day was double boiled chicken with Chinese pear soup. All of us went ahead with soup of the day because it's the only option of clear soup as compared to the rest like Szechuan and Scallop & Asparagus thick soup.


Wok-fried dishes that were slightly bigger in portion. Out of the 5, we sampled only 3 because the other two dishes had foie gras which my dining companions do not fancy. Above this photo is the Pan-fried kurobuta pork, Simmered fillet Garoupa w egg white and Sautéed prawn with black truffle sauce. Would say go ahead with the Kurobuta pork since everyone has only 1 choice. Do also note that this is slightly spicy. 


Thankful to have the privilege to sampled different dishes and to give you guys my honest recommendations. Anyway moving on to the Dessert segment which has 3 options. If you like black sesame and coconut like myself, go for that! Otherwise, the lemongrass jelly and sour plum makes a refreshing end to your meal.




Crystal Jade Prestige’s Signature Weekend Brunch will be available on Saturdays and Sundays till 26th June. The weekend brunch set priced at $58 per person ($48 per person for DBS/POSB/Jadeite members), or $98 per person ($88 per person for DBS/POSB/Jadeite members), inclusive of free flow champagne.
