Afternoon High Tea @ The Landing Point - The Fullerton Bay Hotel

Had several high tea options in mind but finally decided on The Landing Point at Fullerton Bay, to celebrate the birthday for a good friend of mine. No doubt the high tea presentation caught my attention, as well as the location where it allows you to dine with a gorgeous view, overlooking Marina Bay Sands. I could sit here all day.

This was the exact view I'm facing the whole time throughout my high tea, definitely a great spot to switch off, relax and unwind oneself. The Landing Point is an elegant indoor promenade paved with marble mosaics and gold hues.

The gorgeous high tea set comes with an assortment of English scones, finger sandwiches, pastries and delicate sweets which is accompanied with a selection of TWG teas and coffees.

The pastries and sweets will be rotational every month, what I have here may not be exactly what you will get in another month. So from the top tier, right to left, we had the Cucumber Sandwich with Ikura Roe, Lobster Cornet a I'Oriental, Smoked Salmon Mille Feuille with Caviar, Smoked Chicken Capsicum Wrap and Duck Rilette in Sesame Bun.

On the second tier is where all your sweet are. From left to right, there were the Salted Chocolate Caramel Tart, Chocolate Éclair, Fruit Cake, Pistachio Puff, Flavored Macarons, Lemon Tart, Pistachio Madeline and Canelé.

The most bottom tier includes savory such as the Mini Prosciutto Ham Bagel, French Cheese, Stone Fruit Terrine on Hazelnut Cracker, Petit Quiche du Jour and White Truffle Egg Mayo Sandwich.

I was pleasantly surprised to see that I'm able to have more of those in the high tea set, while the staff walks around with the assortment of pastries. With that, I had more of the Truffle Egg Mayo Sandwich, Lobster Cornet a I'Oriental and Smoked Chicken Capsicum Wrap which are my favorite.

On top of that, you can also pick your choice of scones - Plain or Raisin. Each person is entitled to one mini scone, which comes with cream and berry jam. I can't find any reasons not to have raisin scones, unless you detest raisins.

There were a wide selections of fine teas to pick from, where most of them are from TWG. Teas and coffees are unlimited flow and you are able to change to another different tea flavour of your choice from time to time.

The staff at The Landing Point were attentive and a complimentary chocolate mousse cake is presented to the birthday girl after our high tea. p/s: With candle lighted up but it was removed in this photo.

Overall it was a great experience here to celebrate a special occasion. We enjoyed the food, service and ambiance despite the hefty price tag. I was rubbing my hands with glee when I'm able to request for items to be replenished, especially the savory ones. Location is a star and with more than 2 hours of nibbles and chill - definitely a yes.
