Pies & Coffee CNY Salted Egg Yolk Cookies

This lunar new year, I'm thankful to have the privilege to sample some of Pies and Coffee's CNY cookies. With 4 different types cookies in their festive line-up, this includes flavours like Salted  Egg  Yolk  Cookies, Parmesan Cheese Cookies, Pineapple Parmesan Tarts and Green Pea Cashew Cookies.

Salted Egg Yolk Cookies ($22 for approx. 42 pieces, 420g)

Their best selling Salted Egg Yolk Cookies is back by popular demand this lunar new year. The cookies are flavourful and fragrant, with a hint of salted egg yolk taste yet subtle. These savoury cookies crumble with each bite, this is for you if you fancy light salted egg yolk flavour.

Parmesan Cheese Cookies ($22 for approx. 42 pieces, 360g)

The traditional butter cookies are baked with egg yolk and parmesan cheese, both of which lend a robust flavour. With a balance of sweet of salty, I personally love this interesting flavour.

Pineapple Parmesan Tarts ($22 for approx. 28 pieces, 450g)

These homemade pineapple tarts with a touch of parmesan cheese makes the iconic CNY snack an interesting one. Pies and Coffee rendition leans towards the softer butter pastry which actually turns out slightly dry for me. I would love the pineapple fillings to be slightly more.

Green Pea Cashew Cookies ($22 for approx. 45 pieces, 460g)

I guess we can't go wrong with green pea cookies! These cookies contain roasted green peas and cashew nuts while it provide an enticing crunchy bite. With a hint of sweet and savoury, I pretty much enjoy this one.

  1. Loaning firms would just expect you to utilize the title of your auto as security for the credit. It isn't simply the auto which should be surrendered. It is just used to survey the sum you can get from your auto.car title loans chicago
