Staycation at Carlton Hotel for a night to celebrate the hom's birthday. This post is supposed to be up last year but I've clean forgotten lol. Overall, we had a good stay at Carlton!
I'm pleased to find a variety of food offered at Carlton's breakfast buffet. From congee to pastries to pancakes to dim sum to eggs station!
There's mains like rice & noodles as well but the american breakfast always do best, at least to me.
We booked the Superior Room which is huge and facing Singapore's skyline. Service was good, everything is working fine in the room, just that the rooms at the older wing needs furnishing soon.
The view behind those curtains and it's also the view right in front our bed!
We went down to explore the swimming pool & gym area as well. Sadly, the swimming pool area was really small. I think it may get too crowded if there were too many people.
For tourist wise, the location of this hotel is definitely a plus point. Across the road, you'll find Raffles City Shopping Mall and City Hall MRT station is just at the basement of that mall. CHIJMES is just a stone throw away from the hotel where bars & restaurants opened till late. Marina Bay Sands and other shopping are all nearby. In short, good location & great value ;)

Wow! All of their foods are mouth watering and looks delicious. :)
