K-Tower, 9-Tier Seafood Tower with Army Stew Base @ Amoy Street

Yet another Korean food trend has hit our shores, introducing K-Tower, the first seafood tower that offers army stew soup base in Singapore. It is headed by Chef Sky, who has several experience in Korea and Korean cuisine.

The menu allows you to choose up to
- Three-tiers seafood towers at $58 for 2-3 pax
- Five-tiers seafood towers at $128 for 4-6 pax
- Seven-tiers seafood towers at $198 for 7-8 pax
- Nine-tiers seafood towers at $298 for 8-10 pax

The array of seafood includes Canadian oyster, scallop, sea cucumber, Boston lobster, prawn, Sri Lankan crab and many more. Expect nothing but fresh seafood out from the tanks displayed at the back of the restaurant. Not to worry if there are certain seafood you don’t fancy, you may cherry-pick your own from the ‘Build-Your-Own Tower’ section.

The perks of steaming tiers of seafood within the tower, allows the juicy essence of the seafood drip into the soup base situated at the last tier. You will dig in from the top tier, slowly making your way down to the last soup tier, hence be mindful not over steam it as the seafood at the lower tiers may dry up.

The soup base selection comprises of Seafood, Kimichi and Army Stew (Budae Jjigae) and Korean Ginseng. Seafood soup base is of no additional cost, while the three requires an additional of $10 to $20. You may also add on ingredients such as luncheon meat, fish ball, vegetables and beef for your soup base and enjoy it as steamboat.

Apart from the seafood tower, K-Tower also offers a range of a la carte Korean dishes. One of the must have in all Korean menu is the Korean Ginseng Chicken [$17.90], which are thoughtfully prepared for three-hours together with chicken and Korean ginseng. Sadly, it tasted more like a savoury chicken soup as the ginseng wasn’t very distinctive in flavour. Nevertheless, this is still a good eat especially during cold weathers.

Moving on to a speciality dish, K-Tower Fried Chicken Wings [$7.90] and it comes with a choice of original or spicy. You can’t go wrong with the crunchy skin on the chicken wings and the finger licking good spicy marinate.

This Shake Shake Rice [$9.90] is a twist from the usual bibimbap served in a bowl. Now instead of stirring the rice and ingredients together with the cutleries, cover it tight and shake it. An affordable and hearty meal is served, noted that the Shake Shake Rice contains mainly vegetables and does not have any meat in it.

Capped off the meal with Trilogy Rice Cake with Honey [$5.90], K-Tower’s creation of fried rice cakes. These addictive bites comes with a chewy centre filling in cheese, pumpkin and sweet potato, finishes with honey.

Accessibly located within five-minute’s walk from Tanjong Pagar and Telok Ayer MRT stations. The two-story restaurant consists of 126 seating capacity which includes a spacious VIP room that is perfect for corporate events and gatherings. If you're a big fanatic of seafood and particular about it's freshness, K Tower is the place for you.
