Seoul, Korea Day 7 - COEX Mall, Lotte World

Last day of our Seoul trip was to spend it at Lotte World, Seoul most popular theme park. This would be our 2nd theme park for our Korea trip. Of course to fill our stomach before setting off!

Paris Baguette in Seoul has a wide selections of breads and pastry. Every item has a calorie count tag on them which makes us so indecisive while choosing. But life is too short to be on diet :D

After we set off to Jamsil Station where COEX Mall is at as well. We chanced upon Marche, the only Marche in the world which serves buffet for 23,000W per pax. We didn't even consider, we went in right away & start feasting!

Everything is free flow except main courses, you're only able to choose 1 from 3 of them. If I'm not wrong, they are the grilled salmon, ribeye steak and grilled chicken. Rosti, Pizza, Pasta and so much more free flow items, one of the best buffet I've eaten (Y)

We headed over to Lotte World with our filled tummies. It consists of Indoor adventure, the world's largest indoor theme park, an outdoor theme park called Magic Island and many more entertainments all in one place!

Address: 40-1, Jamsil-dong, Songpa-gu, Seoul

Opening Hours: Daily: 9:30 a.m. - 10 p.m.

Subway: Line 2 Jamsil Stn. Exit 4

Indoor Adventure is the world's largest indoor theme park and hosts a dazzling variety of seasonal festivals and parades all year round. The daily parades (230pm & 7pm) are a star attraction at Lotte World. The Indoor Adventure features 22 different rides!

Magic Island, the outdoor theme park of Lotte World, can be access through a connecting passageway on the 2nd floor. Magic Island boasts 17 different rides including the high-altitude free-fall thrill ride, the Gyro Drop and many more! But be warned that most of these rides are long queued esp during weekends.

Very beautiful cherry blossoms in the month of April!

They're many more outdoor thrilling rides, just that camera wasn't allowed in certain area.

The Gyro Drop! One of the major reasons tourists are attracted to Lotte World is the amusement rides. The Gyro Drop and Gyro Swing are the top - a steep drop of 70 meters!

The castle in the night reminds me of Disneyland. Such a princess fantasy feel!

They've some thrilling rides in the indoor theme park as well, best choice if the weather is bad outside. Lotte World is the perfect spot for entertainment and sightseeing. It is filled with thrilling rides, an ice rink, parades of all kind, a folk museum and so much more.

The burning question now - Lotte World or Everland? Personally, I would prefer Everland. It's not that Lotte World is bad but Everland is really big and offers many attractions that Lotte World don't. I would say that Lotte World is kids friendly than Everland. At least to me (:

After a day of entertainment, we are determined to get our stomach filled once again. Back at Myeongdong for street food and Korean BBQ for supper. The potato twist is a Must-Eat in Korea!

Most of the eateries in Myeongdong closed past midnight and it's convenient should hunger strikes. We settled down at one of the traditional houses for Korean grill.

I love dining at traditional shop houses with authentic Korean flavor, it gives such a homely feel. The lady boss came up and grilled the meat for us, heartwarming!

This pretty sums up our trip in Seoul. It's such a beautiful place to go with so many things to do and eat! Seoul, will always be one of my top favorite countries. Will definitely be back again soon! xx
