Bear Bites 熊の食, Singapore

Super Cute Taiwanese Bear Paw Burgers has now arrived in Singapore at *SCAPE, Orchard. Bear Bites first branch was at Fengjia night market in Taiwan, inspired by concept between Taiwanese and Japanese food.

I noticed these cute paws burgers on Instagram and I knew I had to try this with it's uniqueness of flavours in their steamed buns. But do note that strawberry flavour is seasonal. So in the mean time, there are 5 flavours.

Here's how to order your very own Bear Bites 熊の食 Burger in 3 steps:

Step 1: Choose a Meat
Karaage Crispy Chicken ($4.80) / Oishi Fish Fillet ($5.80)
Step 2: Choose a Bun
Original Milk / Brown Sugar / Yam / Curry / Oat / Squid Ink / Strawberry (seasonal)
Step 3: Choose a Sauce
Mushroom / Sweet & Spicy Thai / Black Pepper / Tartar / Honey Mustard / Golden Cheese

*Sorry for the bad quality photos, taken w iPhone as my camera died.

Set meal starts from $7.80 which includes karaage crispy chicken/ fried rice steamed bun + fries + bottled drinks. Add $1 to upsize to cheese fries. Ala carte bun starts from $4.80.

I would suggest getting a set meal, it's much more worth it. (:

Decided to try all the Bear Paw gelato flavours as they look good but the buns are slightly smaller. They've 3 flavours - Chocolate, Green Tea & Caramel Biscuit. I personally like the Caramel Biscuit alot as it goes well w all.

Step 1: Choose a Bun
Original Milk / Brown Sugar / Yam / Curry / Oat / Squid Ink / Strawberry (seasonal)
Step #2: Choose a Gelato - Chocolate, Green Tea & Caramel Biscuit

Overall, I would perfer the Karaage chicken to the Fish Fillet. If you're in town and wouldn't want to spend more than $10 on a meal. Try this out! You don't have to fly to Taiwan to have this, you can grab it right here in Singapore now at Scape*!
