[CLOSED] November 8 Coffee & Company - Upper Thomson

Located in the vicinity of Upper Thomson where lots of eateries and cafes are, you'll find recently opened November 8 Cafe in the same building as OZ Specialty Coffee as well. An ideal place for your all day breakfast and caffeine fix.

The menu is pretty extensive considering the small kitchen, from your all day breakfast to pizza to bites and ice cream waffles. Wanted to try their waffles but Salted Caramel waffles was hard to resist as it's just nearby!

The only shortcoming for me was the open concept kitchen in the cafe. Frying, baking, toasting, everything is done in the air conditional area. You'll probably stink a little aftermath.

November 8 is probably known for their highly raved Potato Rosti. We ordered this as well as their Big Breakfast and Baked Portobello Mushroom as a side.

Big Breakfast ($20) - comes with scrambled eggs, bacons, gourmet pork sausage, smoked ham, york ham, tomato and sautéed mushrooms. I feel it was kinda overpriced for these but no doubt the toast and scrambled eggs were nicely done and delish!

Baked Portobello Mushroom ($10) - 2 huge mushrooms baked with bacon and mozzarella cheese. It tasted ordinary but for that price, I probably won't order it again.

Potato Rosti ($16) - Rosti served with generous serving of scrambled eggs, bacon and gourmet pork sausage. November 8 is known for their highly raved rosti and no doubt it tasted heavenly and affordable as well!

Ordered a flat white ($4.50) and I thought it was moderate but good. They are famous for their coffee and they brew it with their own blend.

I'm particular about scramble eggs when it comes to breakfast and this is one of the place I would go back for a good scramble egg fix. Really good! And heard their waffles are good as well, will be back for the desserts!
